The REI Hub system allows users to mark bank, credit card, and loan accounts that are no longer being used as 'inactive.' After being marked inactive, an account will no longer be displayed on the Banking or Loans page and will not appear in the relevant transaction screen drop-down menus. This helps maintain your focus on your active accounts and reduces visual clutter.
Managing loans effectively is a key feature of REI Hub. If you have paid off a loan and no longer need it to appear in your active loan list, you can mark it as inactive. This helps keep your active loan list organized while retaining access to historical data for reference.
Marking an account as inactive does not impact its financial activity β no historical transactions are affected. Similarly, reports are not affected by this action. Additionally, marking a loan as inactive does not affect its inclusion in tax forms and reports, ensuring that your financial records remain accurate and complete.
To view inactive accounts, click the Filter in the top right corner on the Banking and/or Loans page and select 'Show inactive accounts.'
