Marking Properties as Inactive

Mark a property as inactive to remove it as an option from your dropdown menus without deleting important financial data.

The REI Hub system allows users to mark Properties that are no longer being used as 'inactive.' Properties are most commonly marked as inactive after they have been sold.

After being marked inactive, a property no longer displays on the Properties page and does not appear in the relevant transaction screen drop-down menus. This helps maintain focus on active properties and reduces visual clutter.

Marking a property as inactive does not impact its existing financial activity, and reports are not affected by this.

To view inactive properties, click the Filter on the Properties page and select 'Show inactive properties.'

To Mark a Property as Inactive

1) Navigate to the dashboard of the relevant property

  • Click on Properties on the left menu, underneath Portfolio. Select the appropriate property's dashboard.

2) Click the Edit button

3) Check the box 'This property is inactive' at the bottom and save

4) View inactive properties via the Filter

  • Check the box to show inactive accounts, and then click Update Filter.
