REI Hub makes it easy for you to invite other people to access and manage your portfolio. This could be a spouse or business partner with whom you share bookkeeping responsibilities, or a professional tax preparer, accountant, or bookkeeper helping you prepare to file.

Some Important Things to Know

  • Only grant access to individuals you trust.

  • You can grant access on either a full or a read-only basis. Users with full access will be able to do anything you can in your REI Hub portfolio, including booking and deleting transactions.

  • Portfolio access is not available at the property or sub-portfolio level. You can only grant access to additional users for the entire portfolio.

  • The recipient of your access invitation must create an account with REI Hub. Only their name, email, and password are required.

To Grant Portfolio Access to REI Hub

1) Navigate to the Access page

  • Click the three lines in the upper right corner to reveal the right-side menu, and select Access.

2) Click 'Send Access Invite'

3) Enter the invitee's information and click 'Send Invite'

  • To grant read-only access, check the box before clicking Send Invite.

  • If the box is left unchecked, the recipient will have full access to your portfolio.

  • Be sure to use the correct email address, ensuring everything has been spelled correctly.

4) They will receive an email notification and link

  • When they click the link, they will be brought to REI Hub to complete their profile by choosing a password.

  • After they do so, they can access your portfolio and use all REI Hub features.

  • This email is sent from [email protected]. If they don't see it in their primary folder or junk folder, ask them to search for the email [email protected] and see if it populates the invite.

5) To remove access, click the 'Remove' button next to their name on the Access page

  • If you are changing your REI Hub login credentials, you'll want to send an access invite to the new email address. From there, create a password and ensure you can log in with the new credentials. Once you've verified you can log in, you can remove the access to your old email address.

  • REI Hub does not store login credentials, so if you need to reset a password, please click the "Forgot Password" button or go to https://app.reihub.net/resetpassword

Managing Multiple Client Portfolios as an Accountant

REI Hub equips accountants with well-crafted tools to handle multiple portfolios effectively. These tools include:

Accountant’s View

  • This specialized view allows accountants or accounting firms to access individual client portfolios seamlessly.

Single Login for Multiple Portfolios

  • With a single login credential, accountants can toggle between various portfolios they've been invited to without needing separate logins. Upon selecting a portfolio dashboard, detailed analysis and work can be pursued further.

Notes About Navigation

  • While accountants cannot aggregate all portfolio data in a unified dashboard, the independent management tools offered in REI make filing and collaboration across portfolios simpler and efficient.
