Marking properties as inactive

The REI Hub system allows users to mark Properties that are no longer being used as 'inactive.'  Properties are most commonly marked as inactive after they have been sold.

After being marked inactive, a property will no longer display on the Properties page, and will not show up in the relevant transaction screen drop down menus.  This helps maintain your focus on your active properties and reduce visual clutter.
Marking a property as inactive does not impact that property's existing financial activity.  Similarly, reports are not affected by marking a property as inactive.
To view inactive properties, click the Filter on the Properties page, and select 'show inactive properties.'

To mark a property as inactive:

1) Navigate to the dashboard of the relevant property

Click on Properties on the left menu, underneath Portfolio.  Select the appropriate property's dashboard.

2) Click the Edit button

3) Check the box 'This property is inactive' at the bottom, and save

4) View inactive properties via the Filter

Check the box to show inactive accounts, and then click Update Filter
